Experiment with new features in Blender involving smoke simulations and mesh conversions
Working with the new Blender features was challenging, but I was able to create this entire scene within Blender, aside from the text which was handled in photoshop. I utilized a smoke simulation to generate mesh data, and then I used the node-based material system in Blender to generate a unique texture. Overall, I’m really impressed with how well it turned out, and I’m proud of how much I learned working on it!
