Replicate the Dematic Storage Buffer with accuracy, while ensuring it is highly optimized
The Dematic Storage Buffer is definitely one of the projects that I am most proud of. Eric Reger and I were working at the Centre for Teaching, Learning and Innovation during the practicum portion of the Lethbridge College's MMP Program, when a call came out asking if anyone in our department had skills an interest in 3D and VR. We chose to jump on this opportunity, and had the chance to work with Dematic, a multi-million-dollar company based out of Australia, to create a 3D modeled version of some of their machinery and factory processes. The original model created for Dematic totalled at around 1.2 million vertices, with the version you see here coming to 11,000, which means it performs much better!
